This tropical bohemian styled wedding shoot at The Edison in Dade City was a literal DREAM. As a photographer, over the years I’ve found a couple of words that I like to use to define my style… BRIGHT, JOYFUL & COLORFUL are some of those words & this shoot literally encompassed all of that. The whole time I was shooting, it felt like a DREAM.
I saw a post from Stephanie Lanni in a mutual facebook group we’re a part of looking for vendors for this tropical boho shoot & from the moment I saw the inspiration, I KNEW I needed in on it! The inspiration photos were gorgeous, but I have to admit, with the help of all the incredible vendors, the final outcome was EVEN BETTER!
The models for this shoot were a real couple, which made our jobs even easier, they were so in love & literal #couplegoals. John & Sarah, you two were perfection! Thanks for putting up with 6 crazy photogs directing you & pulling you to all different location for the dreamy shots. You two don’t even need a wedding now I don’t think 😉 They also brought along their cute pup, Moose, who literally stole the show. Just prepare yourself… he sits at the table with them you guys… I don’t think you’re ready!!!
The shoot had four different set-ups…
With the help of the amazing florist, Save the Date Florida, and other vendors the tropical, orange & pink ceremony set up came to life. My two favorite details were the hanging citrus & the colorful rug. Living for those vibes!!
Ok… wait until you see these shots. A LITERAL DREAM. This scene had to be my favorite of the day. All of the bright colors, the thoughtful touches & tiny details turned the table into something straight out of pinterest. Set & Styled Curated Rentals did an incredible job on this design.
The girls at the Sippin’ Sidecar were so amazing to work with. They are a new mobile bar in the Central Florida area & not only is the owner absolutely the sweetest, but she made sure to bring enough drinks for all of us to try. They were absolutely DELISH & their adorable camper transformed into a bar made for the perfect vintage addition to the shoot.
The Edison venue itself is so gorgeous, for the last bit of our shoot, we didn’t need anything special beside their amazing landscaping & tall wispy grass (yes… the kind all photographers dream about)!! I won’t keep rambling on about it, but just wait until you see the photos!
We had so many other vendors involved in this shoot as well including an amazing invitation designer, cake artist, wedding planner, etc. All vendors will be tagged below. Make sure to check them all out because I PROMISE they are all quality & I’m already looking forward to working with each of them again.
