Lifestyle newborn sessions are quickly starting to become a new favorite of mine! Something about being invited in someone’s home during such an exciting time is so special to me! I feel so honored that so many new parents are asking me to capture something so special.

Back in February, I got to capture Kimmy & Jesse’s pregnancy announcement. We met at the Hardee County Fair for some fun photos. It was the perfect location for such an exciting announcement! So when she asked me to do their newborn photos, I was so honored!

Shortly after sweet Holland was born, she reached out to me and said “I’M READY!!!” We got it on my books immediately. Most newborn sessions should take place between 1 and 3 weeks of life. I was so excited that we got Holland in at only 11 days old!

Holland is seriously the sweetest little babe! He has the most adorable cuddly little cheeks!! He may not be the best sleeper, but once he got all cozy in his swaddle, he was out!

His nursery is decorated with trucks that were given to his dad, Jesse, when he was a child. I love little meaningful decorations like that! And although I typically do my newborn sessions completely unposed, I did sneak in one little special posed photo for them at the end. Jesse has a picture laying on a yellow truck as a baby so we remade it with little Holland. We were so worried he would cry, but he was perfect! Seriously… dude was sound asleep on that truck!
